What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect personal data when you sign up to our email list through one of our sign-up forms, either on this website or on paper. This personal data consists of: email address, name, and industry of employment.
There are number of bases in law that we rely on in collecting and processing your personal information. These are:
Consent – when we collect your data with your consent. E.g. when you subscribe to our campaign emails. You can opt out and unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of the email.
Legitimate interest – when we use your data in a way which might be reasonably expected given the nature of our campaign.
Children should not provide personal data without the consent of an adult.
The data collected is used for the purpose of informing you by email about our campaigns and events.
We will not process your data for any purpose other than the purposes stated in this privacy policy.

This website does not use cookies. Third party embedded content may use cookies – see below.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. YouTube videos, Twitter tweets, etc). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with
We do not share your personal data with any third parties.
Our email list is stored in email service provider Mailchimp, and we use their software to send emails to our mailing list.
If you make a donation then you may provide personal data, including payment card data, directly to our payment processor Paypal for the purpose of making that payment. This involves setting up a stand-alone Paypal account where Paypal is the data controller. We do not collect or store sensitive payment data. Paypal may share your contact details with us if you opt in when they ask.
How long we retain your data
We retain mailing list data for as long as you remain a member of our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of the email.
What rights you have over your data
If you have provided us with personal data, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
You have the right to request rectification of any mistake in your personal data, and the right to request a restriction on the processing of your personal data.
